When she is not performing, you can find Yumeko wandering the streets of New York, playing her baritone ukulele, reading up on contemporary essayists, or hiking in the Adirondacks.
"Yumeko Stern was a standout as Carrie Pipperidge, her comic sparkle recalling Audra McDonald’s star-making turn in the 1994 Broadway revival."
"Yumeko Stern shone as “Sheila” at both performances – divine as a brilliant star. Pure, genuine, and sincere, her acting, speaking, and singing diction and voice were clear and simply magnificent. She also lead the Tribe in Act II’s sweet, catchy tune, “Good Morning, Starshine.”" - Big Island Music
